Eduard Friedrich weber (* 10. March 1806 in Wittenberg, "† 18. May 1871 in Leipzig) was a German physiologist and physician.

He was a younger brother of Ernst Heinrich weber (1795-1878) and William Eduard weber (1804-1891).

Life

Weber studied medicine in Leipzig and resounds (Saale), where it 1829 with the 1830 printed Inauguralabhandlung Disquisitio anatomica uteri et ovariorum puellae septimo A the conceptione defunctae (anatomical investigation of the and the ovaries seven days after the the deceased of girl) attained. It practiced then in resounds as Assistenzarzt at the hospital of Krukenberg, in Naumburg (Saale) and Goettingen, where it worked on the mechanics of the human a movement witness (Goettingen 1836) with his brother William.

1836 it followed a call as pro sector to the anatomical institute to Leipzig. 1838 it habilitierte itself as a private lecturer at the University of Leipzig with the paper Quaestiones physiologicae de phenomenis galvano magneticis into corpore humano observatis (physiological investigations in the human body more observed galvano magnetic phenomena). In this position, since 1847 as an extraordinary professor, he was active up to its dying.

By its paper muscle movement in Rudolph of Wagners hand dictionary of the physiology it opened new courses in this part of the science.
