Elliniki Radiophonia Tileorassi A.E. (ERT A.E.) ( adfa ) the common name for national sound broadcasting and television introduced since 1987 are in Greece. The history of the Greek broadcast begins 1938 with the establishment of the Athener of Radiosenders Radiophonikos Stathmos Athinon. The first experimental Fernsehausstrahlungen follow 1965 from Studios of the Greek broadcast EIR (Ethniko Idryma Radiophonias) in Athens. On 23 February 1966 the official transmit mode then finally starts.

Today ERT A.E beside the 4 television programs (ET1, NET, ET3 and ERT sow) maintains numerous Radiosender of national and regional range (NET, Deutero, Trito, ERA Spor, Cosmos, Makedonia, Voice OF Greece etc.). With exception of the regional radio stations and the northGreek ET3 from Thessaloniki all transmitters from ERT headquarters send in Aghia Paraskevi, northeast from Athens. The programs from national subsidies, incomes from advertising as well as fee introduction are financed.
