Enterprise VALUE is a term from the financial world and gives a measure for the market estimate of the current activities of an enterprise. It is defined as the sum of the market capitalization inclusive preference stocks plus debts less existing ready money (cash) and other active, which could be converted directly into cash (cash equivalent).
