Entrepreneurial marketing (establishment marketing) is called the treatment of special marketing questions of again created enterprises. In the center of the Entrepreneurial marketing questions of market entrance planning, the positioning and the structure of image are located. Thereby also aspects of marketing are treated in the context of a business startup. The specialization developed in the context of the starting UP and/or establishment research into the 1990er years.

Two aspects of the Entrepreneurial marketing are to be differentiated

  1. Marketing in the Entrepreneurship (marketing for recent enterprises, which do not have to be inevitably existence founders)
  2. Entrepreneurship in marketing (founder spirit in the marketing of established enterprises, e.g. by flat hierarchies, unorthodox functions and strong stress of the enterprise identity).

Frequently newer communication forms are assigned such as Guerilla marketing, Viral marketing and Buzz marketing to the Entrepreneurial marketing.
