The Eremiteninseln (also Luf Gruppem Hermitinseln or Agomes) is a group of smaller islands in the western range of the Bismarck archipelago. They extend between 144"° 56 ' - 145"° 8 ' of eastern length and 1"° 26 ' - 36 ' southern latitude.

The islands are volcanic origin and consist of one inside lying lagoon, which is attainable by some passages.

The largest island is Luf. The islands belonged between 1884 and 1918 to the German protected areas (German new Guinea). The highest collection, convenient on the Hauptinsel Luf, reaches 244 M.
