Sir Seriousness Boris chain (* 19. June 1906 in Berlin; "† 12 August 1979 in Ireland) was a Jewish ethnic German of British biochemists.

For the discovery of the Penizillins and its welfare effect with different infections kept common 1945 he, to Alexander Fleming and Howard walter Florey the Nobelpreis for physiology or medicine.
