Serious Heinrich weber (* 24. June 1795 in Wittenberg, "† 26. January 1878 in Leipzig), brother of William Eduard weber (1804-1891) and Eduard Friedrich weber (1806-1871), physiologist and Anatom.

Life

Weber was son of the well-known theologian Michael weber, studied in Wittenberg and Leipzig, became 1818 professor of the comparative and 1821 of human anatomy, 1840 of the physiology, later also rector of the Leipziger Alma mould and died in Leipzig on 26 January 1878.

Work

Weber busy with the human, the comparative and microscopic anatomy as well as the history of the development of the animals and the physiology, their physical side is particularly occupied; from it important investigations come to the mechanics of going as well as to the pressure, temperature and local sense in the skin of humans.

Publications

Its chief work is:

  • "“Anatomia comparata nervi sympathici"” (Leipz. 1817),
  • "“De aure et auditu hominis et animalium"” (that. 1820),
  • "“Tractatus de motu iridis"” (that. 1821),
  • "“Wave teachings"” (that. 1825).

The result of joint observations with his brothers William and Eduard are:

  • "“Additives to the theory of the building and of performing the sex organs"” (that. 1846),
  • "“The science of the Tastsinn and common feeling"” (Braunschw. 185l) and
  • "“Annotationes anatomicae et physiologicae"” (Leipz. 1851).
