Ernst Julius Remak (* 26. May 1849 in Berlin, "† 24. May 1911) was a German neurologist of Jewish descent. His father Robert Remak was already a famous neurologist, physiologist and a Embyrologe. Its son was a mathematician Robert Remak.

Remak studied at the universities of Breslau, Berlin, peppering castle, Strasbourg and Heidelberg. it served 1870-71 in the French-German war. Subsequently, he worked to the in Berlin. 1877 it was appointed private lecturer, 1893 as a professor.
