Serious Schweninger (* 15. June 1850 in Freystadt (Upper Palatinate), "† 13. January 1924 in Munich) be a German physician.

Life

Schweninger studied 1875 at the university for pathological anatomy since 1866 to Munich, became 1870 assistant with Buhl, habilitierte themselves and began 1879 more expanded practical medical activity.

The complete healing of realm chancellor Bismarck succeeded to it and consequently it 1884 the professor at the citizens of Berlin university, the extraordinary member of public health authorities and the director of the department for skin diseases to the was appointed.

it established a sanatorium to 1886 in Heidelberg for the treatment of fat-addicted according to its cure method.
