Extension foil (also Stretchfolie or stretching foil) is a flexible adhesion foil made of polyethylene with a high elongation of break from 150% to over 500%.

It has the special characteristic to actually cling without adhesive and as packing material is used, mainly to the pallet safety device, in addition, for the packing of food.

It can be used by hand or by machine. Typical strengths are enough from 10 to 30
