A plant management system and/or a Facility management system covers a sentence of Facilities and services, which during Facility processes and planned and steered by a Facility is linked with one another management.
The linkage and control of Facilities and services within the Facility management system take place in such a manner that a greatest possible use in the sense of the requirements results. Run for this Facility processes within the FM system does not isolate next to each other, but interactively with one another, in order to use synergies.
For the fulfilment of the requirements within the Facility - anagement system all disciplines (organization, technology, economics, ecology, right) are inserted. Within the Facility management system apart from economic and functional reciprocal effects also temporal causalities in the life cycle are considered by Facilities.
The term Facility management system is similar to quality management system to understand environmental or industrial safety management system i.e. this concerns a management system in the sense of the number 3.2.2 of the DIN EN ISO 9000. The Facility management system is the comprehensive framework for all FM activities of a user. Accordingly not several, but a only one, user-specific Facility management system exist within an enterprise.
A data processing system for Facility management is to be called not FM system, but e.g. as CAFM system.
