A felt-tip pen (synonyms: Felt-tip pen, felt painter, fiber pin, fiber writer, fiber painter, colloquially: Filzer) is a recorder, which contains a mine consisting of polyester fiber or other synthetic material, which is impregnated evenly by filling up with ink with this as core. The felt-tip pen originally originates from Japan. The mine is surrounded with a usually colored covering held in the filling color, which is equipped with a cap to the protection against drainage. At the end are a differently formed writing, indication or a mark point, which transport the write liquid of the core on or the surface which can be painted which can be described. Felt-tip pens are refillable in principle.
