Ferdinand of Hebra, born as Ferdinand Karl Franz black man, (* 7 September 1816 in "† 5 August 1880 in Vienna) was a dermatologist. It is regarded as a founder of the scientific theory of the skin diseases.

In the Viennese general hospital he transferred the department for skin diseases with 29 years and developed a new terminology and new therapy forms. It proved that it concerns with the exciter of the a parasite. Famous he became by its "„Atlas of the skin diseases "“(1856, illustrate by Anton Elfinger) and "„the text book of the skin diseases "“(1878, together with Moritz Kaposi). It received many honors and from the Austrian emperor 1877 into the knight conditions was raised.
