Final inspection is that work procedure in the production process, which is used in particular with industriellen mass products, in addition, with the distribution by agricultural products and in principle with all production processes, in order to secure the quality of the commodity before the distribution to the dealer or consumer. The final inspection is thereby naturally the last step in the Produktionsablauf.

To the final inspection no machine can be mostly used, since the possibilities of the reduction in quality are too versatile. Therefore humans examine the finished product by inspection or special investigations.

A product, which does not exist the final inspection, may not be delivered normally. It is given or rejected either in suitable place back to the production cycle. Sometimes it can be delivered also as incorrect copy reduced in price.

The final inspection plays also in food production a large role, since a large damage for a company can develop, if spoiled or unattractive products are delivered to the final consumer.
