Financial candidate and/or (abbreviation: "“FAnw"” and/or "“FAnwin"”) is the name for the officials of the elevated service in the period of instruction (training) in the German financial administration.

The training takes usually three years. It is connected with a specialized higher education. Studying one, which may themselves successfully lock the study thereafter "“diploma financial landlord (FH)"” to call. The conclusion is recognized within the entire European Union.

Financial candidates of the customs administration are taken over after existed conclusion as customs inspectors to employment (di z.A.). The financial candidates of the national financial administration become inspectors of taxes (StI z.A.) the employment.

From it one deviates in Baden-Wuerttemberg in the specialist area "“general financial administration"”: The office designation in the period of instruction is government supervisor candidate (RIA) and in the Probezeit government supervisor for employment (RI z.A.).

The basic salary financial candidates amounts to at present (conditions 2006): EUR 866.24 per month.
