Radio FIP is a French Radiosender, which radiates excluding music of any style direction. Radio FIP belongs to the public group of transmitters radio France.

The concept of the transmitter changed since the establishment in the year 1971 hardly and consists of a eklektischen selection particularly of the ranges jazz, Pop, chanson, film music, world music u.v.m. is interrupted the perfectly advertising-free program only by the messages around 10 minutes each full hour ago as well as short traffic references of the respective region.

That ever more strongly becoming competition pressure around listener ratios by the private Radiosender caused the president of radio France, Jean Marie Cavada starting from 1997, to change the frequency allocations of FIP over in many cities of France to the more popular radio stations Le Mouv' and France Bleu. Up-to-date (2006) the program is only radiated in de France, Bordeaux, Nantes/Saint Nazaire and Strasbourg over terrestrial transmitters.
