Franz Anton Mesmer (also Friedrich Anton Mesmer called) (* 23. May 1734 in Iznang at the Bodensee, Germany; "† 5. March 1815 in Meersburg) was the founder of the theory of the animalischen magnetism, also Mesmerismus mentioned.
