Franciszek Ludwik Neugebauer (* 13 April 1856 in Kalisch, " 13 November 1914 in Warsaw) was a Polish and Russian which worked in the time of the turn of the century.
It was born in the last year that Kali activity of his father Ludwig Adolf Neugebauer as one of two sons in its marriage with Klara Schroetter. Soon after its birth the family pulled to Warsaw, where Franciszek put down in the year 1874 the Abitur and at the medical faculty of the University of Warsaw registered. After two years it went to Dorpat, at that time a large training centre of the Polish Protestanten, who had their own Burschenschaft. It terminated its medicine study in the year 1881 and was active thereafter six years long as a practicing gynecologist at different hospitals in completely Western Europe.
After the return to congress Poland he became an assistant at the renowned Warsaw holy spirit hospital, where he worked under the line of his father. In the year 1893 it went to the Evangelist hospital into Warsaw, where it was active then starting from 1897 up to its death as a boss of the department. Equal time was it many decades member of the advice of the Evangelist municipality.
Neugebauer was an author of 391 scientific work and essays, it in the whole world made famous and member of 33 in and foreign scientific societies. It was considered as world authority in the question of the Hermaphroditismus. 1904 he should be appointed the professor of the imperial-Russian University of Warsaw, did not get the title however not because of knowledge lacking of the Russian language (the Polish University of Warsaw only 1915, in the time of the regency kingdom Poland, of the German crew authorities open).
Its enormous library he gave to the Warsaw physician chamber. It and his brother Edmund Ludwig, Doktor of chemistry (" 1925), beside parents on the Evangelist cemetery in Warsaw were buried. (Avenue A NR 15).
