Franz of Rinecker (* 3 January 1811 in Schesslitz with Bamberg; "† 21 February 1883 in peppering castle) was a physician.

It studied medicine in Munich and peppering castle kept its license to practise medicine unt to 1834. 1838 he was appointed by king Ludwig Ith from Bavaria to the tidy professor for pharmaceutics at the university peppering castle.

Rinecker, specialized in pharmacology and Dermatologie, tried as a director/conductor of the occupation commission of the medical faculty to replace nature philosophy then dominant in the medicine by a scientific basis.

Too its students belonged Ernst Haeckel and Franz von Leydig; He appointed Albert von and Rudolf Virchow to the medical faculty.
