Frederik Jacobus Johannes Buytendijk (* 29 April 1887 in Breda, "† 21 October 1974 in Nimwegen), occasionally also written as F.J.J. Buijtendijk; Biologist, Anthropologe, psychologist and physiologist, one the founder of the psychological anthropology, are considered also as one of the ancestor gentlemen of the cybernetic anthropology.

The stations of the training, research and teachings Buytendijks were the universities of Amsterdam, Groningen, Utrecht, Neapel, Cambridge as well as Berlin, pouring, Bonn, Cologne and Basel. While the crew of the Netherlands it was looked for of the Gestapo and had to submerge. After 1946 up to the retirement 1957 he was a professor for general psychology in Utrecht. Afterwards it received an extraordinary Professur for theoretical and comparative psychology in Nimwegen and a Gastprofessur for comparative psychology at the University of lion.
