Friedrich Julius rose brook (* 16 December 1842 in Grohnde; "† 6 December 1923 in Goettingen) was a German physician.

He became on 16 December 1842 as a son of the upper office judge Bernhard Rosenbach in Grohnde A.D. Weser born. It comes of to an old-established scholar family southof Lower Saxony, whose Urahn Johann Philipp rose brook was, which in the war minister was in Grone. In twelve generations this family brought 16 physicians out.

Friedrich Julius rose brook studied starting from 1863 natural sciences in Heidelberg and later in Goettingen with the chemist Friedrich Finally it turned to the medicine. 1867 gave him the medical faculty Goettingen due to its experimental work "“investigation over some pathological changes after subkutaner injection of mercury chloride"” the degree of a doctor of the medicine. 1868 it existed the medical examination and turned afterwards the pathological Anatonomie and the bacteriology. Voluntarily it participated as a physician in the French-German war 1870/71. It habilitierte in Goettingen with "“investigations over the influence of the against coming off and putrider infections"”. it received 1873 venia legendi for surgery.

Subsequently, he transferred as an extraordinary professor board of directors of the surgical university health center to Goettingen and received a training order for general surgery and surgical Operationslehre.Er received the title of a secret Medizinalrates and 1920 he from the medical faculty to Goettingen the tidy fee professor was appointed.

Scientifically it concerned itself particularly with the study of the surgical Wundinfektion and the practical surgery. As his Hauptwerk the 1884 published Monographie "“micro organisms with Wundinfektionskrankheiten of humans"” one regards.
