Friedrich wolf (* 23 December 1888 in Neuwied, "† 5 October 1953 in Lehnitz with Berlin) was a German physician and writer.

Life

It was born as a son of a Jewish buyer. From 1907 to 1912 it studied medicine, philosophy and history of art in Munich, Bonn and Berlin, graduation 1913. 1914 drove it as a ship's doctor on the route Canada - Greenland - the USA. In the same year he became a troop physician at the west front and decided war opponent. 1918 it was member of the worker and soldier advice in Dresden and joined the USPD. 1917 it published the first After the First World War he worked as a physician in rem-separates and Hechingen, where he particularly supported the medical supply of the simple population and used up themselves the naturopathy. In the years 1923 and 1925 came his sons Markus and Konrad to the world. After the seizure of power of the Nazis Friedrich wolf with its family emigrierte to Moscow. it made itself for 1938 on the way to Spain, in order to work as a physician at the international brigades. He was arrested however in France and brought in the concentration camp Le Vernet. it received the Soviet nationality to 1941 and returned to Moscow, where he became joint founder of the national committee free Germany. Since 1945 it lived again in Germany and belonged thereby to the structure generation of the GDR. Here was it above all literary and politico-cultural actively. From 1949 to 1951 he was a first Ambassador of the GDR in Poland. On 5 October 1953 Friedrich wolf in its work room in Lehnitz died.
