Fritz Albert Lipmann (* 12. June 1899 in mountain, Germany, today to Russia; "† 24 July 1986 in Poughkeepsie, New York, the USA) was an US-American biochemist.

Lipmann discovered 1947 the Coenzym A. Er supplied substantial work over Vitamine, adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and the coal hydrate metabolism.

"“For its discovery of the Koenzyms A and its meaning for the intermediate metabolism"” kept common 1953 he and Hans Adolf cancer to the Nobelpreis for physiology or medicine.
