Fruit dwarves is the label name of a sweet food of the company Danone. It acts thereby around a with fruit preparation, which contains no coloring materials and a portion of 6% fruits. Target group are above all children and young people.

Criticism

Into the criticism the product is guessed/advised repeated because of its advertisement. To the 1980ern there were discussions over the advertising slogan "“as valuable as a small steak"”, because this food was favorably publicised as particularly healthy and for the development of the children and young-finite, although it is in reality only a Snack, thus a sweet, which by every other sweet as take to 2 or child chocolate be replaced can, which is applied likewise as health and development-promoting indispensable food.

In the year 2004 criticized a publicity campaign, in which Danone referred to only use in place of crystal sugar fruit sugars; however fruit sugar can be just as responsible for Karies and predominance as crystal sugars. After newest investigations in the USA the use of fruit sugar is to favour the predominance compared with crystal sugar substantially. Thus it does not concern with this sugar exchange under any circumstances a progress.

Alternative one

The portions of fruit dwarves are small and expensive. Nature yogurt with something jam is substantially more cheaply and less calorie-rich and besides substantially healthier, since the sugar portion is with jam at the most with 60%. Naturally fresh fruit, which one can stir into the nature yogurt, is best.
