Gary hard stone (*17. May 1955 in Staten Iceland, the USA) is an US-American physician and professor of the anaesthesia and an emergency physician of the university hospital in Belgium as well as chief physician of the FIA Formel-1-Weltmeisterschaft.
To completion of the study at the university of smelling ester hard stone went into the 1970er years to Belgium, since it lacked in the USA training positions. 1983 returned hard stone to New York to the Bronx and specialized at Einstein college of the medicine in the anaesthesia.
In the year 1989 hard stone returned to Belgium, where it transferred the tasks of a restaurant physician to Spa Francorchamps (Belgium Grand Prix of the formula 1) when running. In the year 1990 Gary hard stone was assigned to the Medical Car of the formula 1 by professor Sid Watkins. Watkins and hard stone connected immediately a firm friendship. In January 2005 Watkins explained that he wanted to withdraw himself from the formula 1 and the Medical Car. Hard stone became its successor as a Chefarzt of the formula 1.
