George Rudolf (* 1 October 1723 in Liegnitz; "† 4 April 1803 in Wittenberg) was a German physician and Botaniker.

Life

was born on 1 October 1723 in Liegnitz as a son of a pharmacist. It registered 1742 at the University of Leipzig, where it dedicated itself under professor Ludwig as Botaniker to plant anatomy. On 10 September 1746 he attained the degree of a medical Baccalaureus and to 20. March 1750 a medical Lizentiaten. After death Abraham of father, was appointed on 2 August 1752 to the university in Wittenberg as a professor.

It wrote over the Flora of Leipzig, over which cell fabrics of the plants, over which condition of the seeds over nectarines wrote and a over-sighted over the plant world with the work "„Bibliotheca scriptorum histria naturalis "“in five parts from 1785 to 1789 appeared.
