Gerald Maurice One (* 1. July 1929 in New York, USA) be a American physician.

Apart from its research to the Immunologie Edelman Group Selection Theory, which describes development processes in the brain, created theories to human consciousness and the so-called new ral.

Gerald Edelman is founder and director of the Neurosciences of institutes in San Diego.

it kept 1972 common with Rodney R. Porter the Nobelpreis for physiology or medicine for its discoveries within the range of the chemical structure from anti-bodies.
