The DPG German pledge system GmbH with seat in Berlin became on 29 June 2005 of the federation of the German retail trade (HDE) and the Federal union of the German nourishing industry (BVE) with the goal based of creating a country widely uniform organization of a cancelling system for bepfandete one-way beverage packing.

After intensive work the contractual and structural basic conditions are present in April 2006. Are defined in it the conditions for and for the monitoring of the set of rules, also in the transitional phase. Likewise the DPG gives certificates and also licenses, which are needed for example for the use of the protected Logos.

The DPG is to ensure that the cancelling demanded by one-way bundles, as by the legislator, starting from 1. May 2006 functions.
