The German television radio (DFF), of 1972-1990 television of the GDR (DDR-FS) was the national television of the GDR.

On 11 February 1972 the DFF was renamed and was called from now on television of the GDR. The old name outlasted only in with quotations and with the sand male in the evening greeting from the television radio.
