Euringer (* 1963 in Munich) is the name behind the face, which was until 2005 for many decades on the packing of the child chocolate. The photo was taken up 1973 and further processed later at the computer. Euringer got 300 DM as fee.

The face was selected in Germany to the five most well-known icons of the Pop culture.

Its identity was kept secret however until 2005, because it did not want to be recognized. Euringer works today as cameraman and a film producer and published 2005 its autobiography.
