building of aerial ropeways was a small aerial ropeway building contractor in South Tyrol (Italy). The company was created by engineer Karl had its seat in Meran and enjoyed for many years in the alpine region a good reputation for planning and the building of smaller to-and-from system aerial ropeways. In the 80's the company shifted its seat in the nearby Lana and in the same period created it together with the Vorarlberger enterprise Doppelmayr the subsidiary company Agamatic, a whose goal was the planning and production of domable armchair and car elevators. The registration of the Funifor patent and its first conversion is important in the year 2000 at the Stilfserjoch. 2002 fused the three in Lana residents enterprises Agamatic and Doppelmayr to the Doppelmayr Italia, which evolutioniert the old concepts further and lets successfully live on.
