The de Ville is at the end 19. Century established neoklassizistische city hall of Paris. It is in the of the same name 4. Arrondissement at the Place de and to the Rue de Rivoli.

The first building at the place, the Maison of the Piliers, came of that to 14. Century and was umgewidmet in the year 1357 to the city hall. In 16. Century was torn off it due to the state of decay and again built in styles of the Renaissance. On 4 September 1870 in the building the third republic was proclaimed. While that Paris municipality in the year 1871 was destroyed the building.

The present building in styles of the classicism with 146 statues on the front was built in the years 1874-1882. It was sketched by the architects Ballu (1817-1885) and Pierre Deperthes (1833-1898).
