Hanns Hippius is a German psychiatrist and writer. He is publisher of numerous books to the psychiatry and psychiatry history. It was involved in the development of the first "“atypical"” Neuroleptikums Clozapin.

Hippius was director/conductor of the university clinic for psychiatry in Munich.
