Hans Eppinger June. (* 5 January 1879 in Prague; "† 25 September 1946 in Vienna), Professor Dr. med., Austrian physician, internalist, university professor in Freiburg in mash gau, Cologne and Vienna, son of Hans Eppinger sen.

Life

Training in Graz and Strasbourg, 1903 graduation to the Dr. med. in Graz. Subsequently, assistant at the there medical hospital, starting from 1908 assistant in Vienna under Carl Harko of Noorden (1858-1944) and Karel Frederik Wenkebach (1864-1940). 1909 Habilitation for the subject internal medicine, 1918 a.o. professor. 1926 call to the university in Freiburg in mash gau, 1930 to Cologne. Afterwards as professor and a director of the hospital for internal diseases at the general hospital in Vienna.

Eppinger, whose interest particularly applied for the research of liver diseases and cycle disturbances and which the so-called permeability pathology created, was at present Hitler fascism in the KZ Dachau (together with William Beigelbock) considerably taken part in experiments with passengers. Thus e.g. 90 Sinti and Roma were consulted for experiments, with which the drinking barness should be investigated by sea water. All drinking water was withheld from the pro gangs and it got only sea waters among other things to drink. Most of them died within shortest time.

1936 were appointed Eppinger to Moscow, in order to treat the Soviet dictator Josef Stalin.

1945 became Eppinger, although as an executive committee of the Viennese hospital of its position relieved, confidence physician of the Soviet supreme command in Austria.

1976 were designated a Krater on the moon after Eppinger, in order to appreciate its earnings/services in the area of the study of the liver diseases and cycle disturbances. The designation was cancelled only 2002 of the Working Group for to Planetary system Nomenclature (WGPSN), a working group of the international astronomical union.

Eppinger as name givers

Cauchois Eppinger Frugoni syndrome, English: Frugoni's syndrome-chronically rezidivierende inflammation and Thrombose of the Pfortader, possibly also the Milzvene; leads to Spleno or Hepatosplenomegalie, anemia, Leuko and Thrombopenie, possibly to Aszites, fever, striking and digestive tract bleedings. - see Budd Chiari syndrome
