Life

Hans Oster originated from an Evangelist minister family. After the Abitur it became 1907 career soldier. It participated, last as an officer in the general staff, at the First World War. it was forced 1932 in the rank of a major (since 1929) because of an affair of honour - a relationship with the wife of a comrade - to acknowledge the service.
