Professor Dr.phil. Hans Werner choice (* approx. 1955) is a German psychologist and a leading member at the German center for aging research (DZFA) in Heidelberg.

It leads the department for social ones and ecological Gerontologie. Its deputy is Dr. Frank Oswald. The research center is aligned interdisciplinary and investigates aging processes in its multilayered aspects. To the managing body of the institute still Hermann belong to burners and Manfred Anslinger apart from Professor choice.

Hans Werner choice received its diploma made of psychology 1981 (University of Heidelberg) and attained a doctorate 1989 to the FU Berlin. Already six years later it habilitierte (again in Heidelberg]] in the subject psychology and became 1997 professor for ecological and social Gerontologie at the there DZFA.

The emphasis of its research is:

• Age in a view of the transaction of older humans with their spatial-material-technical Umwelten
• Psychosocial aspects of ageconditioned in seeing
• Everyday life authority of old humans in psychosocial perspective
• Questions of the applied Gerontologie
• History and systematics of the Gerontologie.
