It was originally at the citizens of Berlin active, after the war at the mental hospital of Bremen. It sat down engaged for the use of Psychotherapie in psychiatric hospitals, at that time no matter of course.

Into history to the psychology, in particular the shape theory and/or Gestalt psychology, and the Psychopathologie was involved gave first schooling to particularly by its 1924 published work "“attempt of a theory of the paranoischen self-relationship and illusion formation"”. This work was in close co-operation with max Wertheimer, for which founders of the shape theory developed. It belonged to the first shape-psychological work at all, which was translated into the English language (Ellis, A SOURCE Book OF shape Psychology, Harcourt: London 1938). Their topicality comes also into the fact to the expression that it is located in the center of the international discussion in the context 2002 of a published anthology with shape-theoretical contributions to psychotherapeutischen pathology (Gerhard Stemberger, Hrsg., '' psychological disturbances in the I world relationship '', Krammer: Vienna. In this anthology also contemporary comments are to the work of trained, among other things also from Abraham S. Luchins, Erwin Levy and Paul Tholey, as well as a Kurzbiographie to Heinrich trained from Gerda angel-broken.
