Hellmuth cousin (*21. March 1910 in slot mountain, "† 2 February 1949 in Landsberg) was a German physician, who accomplished people attempts in different National Socialist concentration camps.

Life

The family of cousin originating from Thuringia moved 1914 to Frankfurt/Main. There Hellmuth studied cousin medicine at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe university. In the year 1933 he spent one term in Graz and became after its return to Frankfurt (July) in October 1933 member of the SS. At the beginning of of 1934 it began his graduation work, its doctor father was the later gau lecturer leader Heinrich Guthmann. It received the doctor title to at the end of of 1935 and worked starting from 1936 in the hospital Rastpfuhl. Besides it was active as a SS-physician at the medical relay I/85. In the year 1937 it became finally still member of the NSDAP. With the change to the chemical concern Bavarian in Leverkusen 1938 began cousin career in the system of the concentration camps. With Bavarian as scientific coworkers adjusted, cousin in several KZ tested new preparations at the prisoners.

Its work began on 29 July 1941 in the KZ Dachau, where it tested sulfone amide preparations of Bavarian on their effect against Gonorrhoe, pneumonia and other indications. Its contempting for human beings attitude comes out from letters to its colleagues in Leverkusen, in whom it writes over Dachau, it would be one "“besteingerichtetsten K.L."” in the realm and he would occur himself "“as in the Paradies"”. To the dissolution of work village it changed on 13 October 1942 into the straight again furnished concentration camp Auschwitz Monowitz. Cousin last station is 1944 - accompanying with the transport to the - the Mauthausener external bearing Gusen. After end of war Hellmuth cousin was accused of its crimes. An US-American military court condemned it on 12 August 1947 to death. The judgement was executed on 2 February 1949 in Landsberg.
