Herbert Spencer Gasser (* 5. July 1888 in Platteville, Wisconsin, USA; "† 11. May 1963 in New York, the USA) was an US-American neuro physiologist.

For its discoveries over the highly differentiated functions of the individual nerve fibers kept common 1944 it and Joseph Erlanger to the Nobelpreis for physiology or medicine.
