Richard Pott, actually Hermann Richard Pott (* 22 October 1844 in resounds (Saale); "† 25 September 1903 in Wernigerode), was a German physician.

He was the son of the linguist August Friedrich Pott. It visited first the Latina of the Francke donations. After the military service it began a study of the natural sciences at the university resounds. Starting from 1895 it led the child welfare place of the woman association.

Pott researched to the infections of the child as well as to deformations and wrote numerous contributions for the yearbook of the child medicine. Richard Pott died at a not healed completely infection, which he had tightened himself with an operation. Briefly before its death it was distinguished with the red eagle medal IVTH class.
