Hildegard of being gene (* 16 September 1098; " 17 September 1179 in the monastery Rupertsberg with being gene) was a and a Mystikerin. Hildegard began nevertheless 1141 in co-operation with Propst Volmar of Disibodenberg and her familiar one, the nun Richardis of Stade to write their visions and theological down like anthropologischen conceptions in Latin language. Since it did not control latin, it had all texts translated by its writer. Its Hauptwerk Liber Scivias Domini (the ways of the gentleman knew) developed in one period of six years. This book contains 35 miniatures. These miniatures of theological contents are painted extremely artful in bright colors and serve mainly for the illustration of the complicated and low-intimate text.
During a Synode in Trier Hildegard got finally 1147 from Pope Eugen III. official permission for publishing their visions. This permission strengthened also their political meaning. Beyond that it became at this time because of their visions estimated and stood with many religious and lay powerful ones in correspondence. So in their meaning strengthened, it created the monastery Rupertsberg around finally 1150 on the left side the close one. The two archbishops nevertheless finally succeeded and Richardis left the monastery Rupertsberg.
