Holger Werfel scrubbing man (* 12 February 1877 in hearing cross-beam; "† 3. March 1960 in Copenhagen) was a Danish orthopedist and Roentgen physician. After it the Adoleszentenkyphose (in the technical language Osteochondritis deformans juvenilis dorsi) is designated disease scrubbing man.

Holger Werfel scrubbing man originates from a physician family in hearing cross-beam, a small city between Copenhagen and the It began its medicine study 1895 and locked it 1902 at the Kopenhagener university. Afterwards it completed its hospital service in different hospitals in Copenhagen. 1918 he became a specialist for and radiology.

It undertook study trips to Germany, Austria and Sweden and was 1920-1922 chairmen of the Danish radiologist combination and 1933-1934 of the Danish radiological society. 1936 it became member of the American Academy OF Orthopaedic Surgeons also corresponding. In the same year it received the Dannebrog medals.

After its retirement 1947 it still many years was active as a private Roentgen physician. it received finally its doctor title - honoris causa - of the Kopenhagener university to 1959, 40 years after its original collecting main.
