Hoshin management is a enterprise-comprehensive planning and control system, which merge all high-level personnel and coworkers. During a systematic cascading process in the context of a simultaneous vertical and horizontal tuning the break-through goals of the enterprise developed from the vision are derived, in order to develop from it the substantial strategies and goals for all coworkers, so that all coworkers are fokusiert on the the same vision and goals of the enterprise.

Hoshin is a term from the Japanese, as much as compass needle meant.
