Hunting aircraft was a British airplane manufacturer, that was created 1933 of Edgar Wickner Percival as Percival aircraft CO in Gravesend and itself first with the production of light trainer aircraft of the Gull series busy.

1936 drew the enterprise after Luton and called themselves Percival aircraft Ltd. 1944 became the company Teil of the Hunting group, after Edgar Percival had sold its portions. 1954 were changed again the name in Hunting Percival aircraft, during the founders Edgar Wickner Percival itself with the Edgar Percival aircraft Ltd. made again independent. one finally called oneself 1957 Hunting aircraft.

1959 one on the part of the state in a forced manner with Bristol of airplanes company to form English Electric and Vickers Armstrong those British aircraft corporation (BAC), which can be created again, from which today the BAE of system came out. 1965 was closed the former Percival works due to the end of the BAC TSR.2-Programms.
