Back to "Endokrines organ"The hypophysis behind rag (HHL, neuro hypophysis, lat.: Neurohypophysis) is a part of the hypophysis. Contrary to the hypophysis front rags, with which it concerns a endokrine gland, the HHL is evolutionary a part of the brain, in particular hypothalami. The term "“Hinterlappen"” refers to the topografische situation with humans, since it forms the rear section of the hypophysis here. Compare-anatomically it is rather unfortunately selected, since the HHL will surround with some mammals (e.g. carnivore, horses) by the hypophysis front rag. Therefore the term neuro hypophysis is appropriate.
Hormones
In the neuro hypophysis two hormones are provable:
- Vasopressin (syn. Adiuretin, ADH): the water absorption in the kidneys regulates; the urine more strongly concentrated, at the same time rises the blood pressure)
- Oxytocin causes concentration of the smooth musculature, in particular the during the birth, and it energizes the milk payment in the milk gland.
Anatomy
The hypophysis behind rag divided into:
- Infundibulum (hypophysis handle)
- Lobus nervosus (nerve rags)
The HHL stands over the Tractus hypothalamohypophysialis with the hypothalamus in connection. In the Nucleus supraopticus formed ADH and in the Nucleus paraventricularis formed Oxytocin bound at Neurophysine by axons of this Tractus from the hypothalamus to the hypophysis behind rag are transported and stored there.
