The heath herb plants (Ericaceae) educate a family of the Bedecktsamer (Magnoliophyta).
Plants of this family occur nearly world-wide. One often finds it on poor, sour soil, on which they receive necessary nutrients by Mykorrhiza (symbiosis with soil mushrooms).
