Ian Donald (* 27 December 1910 in Cornwall, Scotland; " 19 June 1987) was a British
it put the basis of diagnostics with the first sonographischen representation of an unborn child to 1958. It developed this application with its colleagues at the Glasgow Royal Maternity hospital (GRMH) in Glascow. The results were published on 7 June 1958 in The Lancet under the title "Investigation OF Abdominal of measure by Pulsed Ultrasound".
