Immanuel Nobelius (* 1757 in Uppsala; " 1839 in were a Swedish physician. Its son was the Industrielle Immanuel Nobel (1801-1872), its grandchild of the entrepreneurs and founder of the Nobelpreises Alfred Nobel (1833-1896).
The name Nobelius comes from the place of residence of the family, (today Simrishamn) in care. It was shortened first to Nobell and 1785 in Nobel unnamed. Parents were Olaus Nobelius (1706-1760) and Anna Christina Wallin (1718-1718).
