Info radio is in Berlin and Brandenburg of common news stations with seat in Berlin. The info radio went in August 1995 as co-operation model from ORB and SFB on transmission and belongs today to rbb (broadcast Berlin Brandenburg). Model was current the information channel Bavarian broadcast, B5.

On 28 August 2005 info radio its existence celebrated.

Info radio sends around the clock messages, weather, sport and stock exchange message in the 20-minutes pulse. Between them interviews and background reports are sent about international, German and regional (Berlin Brandenburg). In edge times, in the night and on weekend, also in-hour discussions and sport transmissions (e.g. soccer federal league) are brought.

The messages are offered parallel in the Internet as texts and as audio files (mp3-Files) for the Download. As liveStream info radio is to be received world-wide. The Internet offer supplemental by dossiers (background material to current topics).

Editor-in-chief of the transmitter is Andreas Wertz, its Stellvertreterin Rosemarie Fischer.
