Innovation management [] is systematic planning, conversion and control of ideas to organizations. In contrast to creativity, which concerns itself with the development of ideas, innovation management is aligned to the utilization of ideas. Innovation management not exclusively concerns itself with the conversion of new ideas. Also a combination from already well-known one or an idea, which is still unknown to a target group, can be considered as innovation.

The management of innovations is part of the enterprise strategy and can to products, services, manufacturing processes, organisational structures or management processes refer. While product innovations usually aim at to satisfy the needs of customers better process innovations are usually aligned to improvement of effectiveness and efficiency of procedures.

Factors of influence
